Diocese of La Crosse comments on lawsuit against HHS mandate
Bishop William P. Callahan of the Diocese of La Crosse expressed his appreciation on the May 21, 2012 announcement from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops that 43 dioceses, hospitals, schools and Church agencies joined forces to file 12 lawsuits stating that the "U.S. Department of Health and Human Services mandate violates religious freedom."
