Eight women vying for title of Miss Burlington Area ChocolateFest 2013

BURLINGTON — Eight Burlington-area young women will compete for the title of Miss Burlington Area ChocolateFest 2013 at 2 p.m. May 26 on the Chocolate Festival Wanasek Stage. Bees Blow It Again; Fall to Cougars 13-12

Wisconsin beats Bandits to claim sixth straight win

DAVENPORT, IA - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers claimed their sixth straight win with a 9-6 victory over the Quad Cities River Bandits on Thursday night at Modern Woodmen Park. It was probably just a coincidence that Wisconsin broke open a tie game with four runs in the sixth inning.
