Gaston plant recalls dog food, halts production

Diamond Pet Foods says it has suspended production at its Gaston plant and recalled multiple varieties of dog food made there in recent weeks because of salmonella concerns. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says 14 people in nine states are infected with salmonella, but none are in South Carolina.
