Lane closures begin on Route 73 bridge in Jenkintown
Journal Register News Service Construction was slated to begin Monday, April 30, to repair the Route 73 (Washington Lane) bridge over SEPTA tracks in Jenkintown Borough, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The work will result in short-term weekday lane closures of eastbound Route 73 (Washington Lane) between Church Road and Township Line Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Jenkintown wants Sunshine Spa shut down
“Not My Life,” a film about human trafficking, will be shown May 15 at the Hiway Theatre to raise awareness about the global issue and make residents aware that prostitution is believed present in Jenkintown.
