Birdsboro considers PennDOT right-of-way offer
Birdsboro Borough Council is considering a $7,400 offer from PennDOT for a right-of-way acquisition of a 2,927.32 square ft. parcel of land on their side of the current East First Street Bridge over Hay Creek.

Water main relocation project in advance of Route 345 bridge replacement
Pennsylvania American Water has kicked off a $140,000 water main relocation project at the intersection of Lincoln Road and Route 345 in Exeter Township,. The project will make way for the reconstruction of the bridge spanning the Schuylkill River between Baumstown and Birdsboro.

Daniel Boone School Board to raise taxes, tap into reserves to balance 2012-13 budget
The Daniel Boone School Board agreed Monday to raise property taxes by .385 mills and use $1.2 million of the district’s reserve balance to reduce the district’s projected $1.5 million deficit and balance the 2012-13 budget.
