Wanted more voters, especially the younger ones
According to the U.S. Census, only 63.9 percent of adult New Jersey citizens were registered to vote in 2010, and just 41.7 percent went to the polls. Things are not likely to get better as citizens below the age of 25 not only don't bother to vote but they are not registered either. In 2010 only 16.7 percent of eligible age 18 to 24 voters went to the polls and 44 percent were registered.
