Gloucester County Historical Society puts historic quilts on display in new exhibit
WOODBURY — The journal entries of the late Josephine C. Packer, of East Greenwich Township, tell the story of her daily activities from 1875 to 1879. Whether she was attending an event in Mullica Hill, getting furniture repaired in Paulsboro or making recreational visits to Swedesboro, one thing was for certain — she quilted quite a bit.

N.J. wineries raise a glass as law that allows them to ship directly to customers takes effect
Before the law went into effect, neither New Jersey nor out-of-state wineries could ship their bottles directly to customers here unless they did it through a wholesale distributor. The new law cuts out the middle man, allowing wineries to earn more profit per bottle by selling them directly to customers at retail prices.
