Central Jersey set to honor war veterans
Thomas W. Myers, then of Middlesex Borough, was killed in action while serving in Vietnam in 1969. His family will remember his sacrifice this Memorial Day, and honor him and all veterans during the fourth annual Memorial Day Weekend Baseball Tournament in Bridgewater.

This article will address the importance of education to the success of our country in the global economy. I will use the governor of New Jersey as a starting point. He is correct in stressing the need of getting rid of bad teachers but not to condemn all teachers. They are not overpaid, governor.

Elks walk out on drugs

Education: Middlesex County students of the week
Farmers from Quiver Farms came to Franklin Elementary School in Rahway for the school's annual chick-hatching project. The students learned how to take care of the eggs in the absence of the hen and rooster. Students in Lindsay Lerner's class were excited when all 12 of their eggs hatched.
