Home sales jump

NEW HAMPSHIRE home sales jumped more than 20 percent in April from a year earlier, to their highest level for that month since 2006, the New Hampshire Association of Realtors said yesterday. Some 979 homes were sold in the state in April, up 20.7 percent from the 811 homes sold in April 2011, the association said in a news release. We were told by our real estate agent that we should list our home at a price just slightly under what it may sell for in order to get a quick sale. Wouldn't a better strategy be to list higher and have some room to negotiate?
