WeatherVision moving, becomes part of JSU's meteorology school
A familiar sight along Interstate 55 in Jackson is in the process of moving. WeatherVision has been uplinking weathercasts to stations around the country since 1991. It's currently located on Foley Street, which is between Fortification and High streets, and is moving to the Mississippi e-Center at Jackson State University on Raymond Road.

Officers to increase patrols this holiday weekend
Nine people died on Mississippi highways during the 2011 Memorial Day weekend. The Highway Patrol hopes to reduce that number on the roads it covers during the 78-hour holiday period begins at 6 p.m. Friday and ends at midnight Monday.
