A couple of tornadic thunderstorms moved across central Mississippi this afternoon. One storm produced a wall cloud near Magee shortly after 2PM. No damage was reported.

3Qs: Coke Magee, Lee County Schools’ administrator of the year
The 2011-12 school year is rapidly drawing to close. Tupelo's schools had their final day on Friday, and Lee County Schools will dismiss on Monday. Most other schools in Northeast Mississippi completed their year last week or do so this week.

Tylertown seeks police chief
The Tylertown Police Department is still without a chief two months after former Chief Aubrey Hill's resignation. Hill resigned the chief's post in February to take a higher-paying position with an offshore oil company.
