New K-9 'major asset' to George County Sheriff's Department

George County Sheriff's Deputy Adam Reus has a new, "good-looking" partner to help him patrol the streets of George County. "He'll be a major asset," Reus said of K-9 Deputy, Bak, a 5-year-old German Shepherd. "He is a good looking dog. He pretty much goes everywhere I go now. We're trying to get use to each other."

George County supervisors officially decide on redistricting plan

LUCEDALE, Mississippi -- George County supervisors voted 3-2 to approve redistricting plan two during their regular board meeting Wednesday. Under the plan, District 3 moves south.
