Mass. home prices are up

The median price for a single-family home in Massachusetts rose last month, the first time that measure has increased since September 2011, the Massachusetts Association of Realtors reported yesterday.

Pending home sales rise for 12th straight month

WALTHAM -- The number of single-family homes put under agreement rose 35.6 percent in April when compared to the same month a year ago -- the 12th straight month that such activity rose on a year-over-year basis.
