State Senate mulls move to help NSCC expansion
LYNN — The Massachusetts Senate will consider approving $100,000 today for North Shore Community College to set up a private board in Lynn that will work on acquiring space for the crowded Lynn campus to expand in, said NSCC’s president, Wayne Burton.

Mattapan man is charged in Lynn shooting
A Mattapan man is to be arraigned today in Lynn District Court on charges of shooting a 19-year-old in Lynn Wednesday evening, said police. Joseph Wright of Lynn allegedly admits to killing mother, grandmother, dumping bodies at Saugus school
Joseph Wright, the Lynn man accused of murdering his mother and grandmother, was brought back from Maine Wednesday night by Massachusetts State Police detectives. Dental society presents $35,000 grant to Lynn Community Health Center
The Massachusetts Dental Society Foundation has awarded a $35,000 grant to the Lynn Community Health Center. It was one of six grants awarded to organizations throughout Massachusetts to improve the oral health of residents of the commonwealth. The North Shore District of the MDS presented the check to the Lynn Community Health Center at its March monthly meeting at the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem.
