Man held briefly, robbed in College Park

A man was abducted at gunpoint and robbed early Sunday near the University of Maryland campus in College Park, authorities said. The victim, who is not connected to U-Md., was not injured, campus police said. Police said he was flagged down by a pedestrian about 1:30 a.m. while driving east on University Boulevard near Adelphi Road and the western edge of the campus. Read full article >>
