Brungardt seeks fourth termin Kansas Senate

A three-term state senator has filed for re-election in the 24th District, which includes Abilene and a portion of Dickinson County. Sen. Pete Brungardt, R-Salina, is the process of serving his third 4-year term. A Salina optometrist, he also served eight years on the Salina City Commission.

Sunflower mowdown: KU wants to reverse trend of in-state defeats

Kansas Family Policy Council petitions on Salina anti-discrimination proposal made public

SALINA, Kan. | The leader of a Wichita-based group that submitted a petition Monday to Salina's city commission opposing a proposal to add sexual orientation and gender identity to the city's anti-discrimination ordinance said he is concerned that the city released the petitions to the public.

Dry, windy conditions have farmers ready
