James "Jim" L. Friday, Sr., 73, of Peachtree City, passed away on May 14, 2012. He was born in Birmingham, Ala., in 1939, graduated from Lee High School in Jacksonville, Fla. in 1957. He then entered the U.S. Navy in 1957, serving aboard submarines until 1966. He married Marion Forehand in 1957 and was hired as a pilot by Eastern Airlines in 1966. Mayor Haddix’s libel legal bill paid for by PTC taxpayers
