Packers to meet Westlake in Thursday doubleheader

Because Westlake High will hold its prom on Saturday, the Atlanta school requested that its best-of-three first-round state baseball tournament opener against Colquitt County start on Thursday, rather than on Friday, as stipulated by the Georgia High School Association.
