McDonough secures loan for water, sewer improvements
A state agency has approved $1 million for the City of McDonough to improve its water quality. The Clean Water State Revolving Fund loan was announced by Kevin Clark, executive director of the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA).

Two people from McDonough, Georgia have been arrested on felony drug charges stemming from what began as a routine traffic stop. Henry County Sheriff Will Maddox, in a prepared release, said Richard Minter, 42, and Lacole Boles, 35, were taken into custody late Friday night.
