Two hurt when vehicle overturns in Saturday wreck in Habersham
A 21-year-old Jefferson woman was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta after being thrown from this 2002 Ford Ranger pickup truck as it overturned on Highway 365 near Cornelia Saturday night.

Habersham animal adoption rate increases by $25
CLARKESVILLE – It now will cost more to adopt an adult dog or cat in Habersham County. In a 4-1 vote Monday night, the Habersham County Commission to increase the adoption fee for adult dogs and cats (male or female) to $110. The fee had been $85.
