Madison Rotarians help out Harvest Youth Club
Last August, in appreciation for what the Harvest Youth Club members did for the community, the Rotary Club of Madison presented executive director Melvin Allen with a check for $10,250 to rebuild the playground destroyed during the April 27 tornadoes.

A bitter harvest
The state of Alabama last year took aim at its illegal immigrant population and hit its many produce farmers right in the foot. This year, Heart of Dixie farmers who produce significant amounts of the nation’s tomatoes, onions, etc., are trying to avoid getting hit in the other foot.

State trooper sustains minor injuries in Harvest wreck, accident still under investigation

Some Ala. farmers cut back crops, citing crackdown

Monrovia sewage treatment plant wins statewide recognition
